Open up v4.2 Google Earth. Once it loads hit Ctrl+Alt+A... (Macs are a little different Cmd+Opt+A)... This mode will put you into the flight simulator mode where you can enjoy a little flight time within your Google Earth software. Enjoy flying your plane into a structure or fly around the home that you modeled in Google Sketchup. ENJOY!

Economic Rents
I am not saying that the Oscar's event was a total bust. People got paid. John Stewart was present. Nicole Kidman looked jaded. And all of the really old rich movie industry tycoons sat front and center. What did they really want to see? Skin? Famous people falling on stage or missing their lines? No, they wanted to see advertisements... like the one for Nintendo. Talk about an incredible plug for the Wii. Industry leaders pay BIG money for those spots. Writers, Limo Services, Caterers, Party Companies.... make up a small part of the Hollywood pyramid scheme. I hope that you continue to get yours but please don't make the event up to be something that it is not. It isn't a dog show parade... or a matter of life and death... so why am I still writing about it? Shit.

The Three Main Types of People
I believe that the world consists of three types of people:
1) Creators
2) Maintainers
3) Destroyers (ME!.... guess why)
Creators offer things for the destroyers to destroy. Destroyers offer things to the creators to create. Maintainers act to support and promote the continued development of both the destroyer AND the creator. All three types of people are dependent on the other types for sustainability.
When we die, I believe that we merge back into the collective conscious... or just think energy at its most simple form. Our human experiences become shared with this collective, helping to contribute towards our search for "truth."

Work Hard Play Hard... duh.
Working with 3Ball Productions as a PA for the past couple days. It has been a healthy mix of work hard/play hard... but better yet, it has simply been "work." There has been a nice positive shift in Hollywood since the writers have been returning. Let's hope the trend continues, eh?
